Flight Review

Jan 16, 2020

Flight delayed and rescheduled six times in Minneapolis. A new plane finally provided. Staff were frazzled with the constant changes but handled the delays well and passengers treated well. The total lack of access to entertainment, plus no chargers on-board were a disappointment. No ability to order real food was disappointing also but with plane issues, understandable.

Short trip. Arrived early

Sep 19, 2019

The flight staff was the best I have ever encountered. Very friendly and they liked their job. I will fly with West Jet again. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Aug 11, 2018

On landing West Jet keeps the air pressure to high. Hard on your ears. Didn't happen on United

Jul 15, 2018

I loved that fact that boarding was easy and flight was on time.

Jul 14, 2018

I think the time to transfer from my international flight from Incheon, South Korea to transfer to my local flight to Saskatoon, Canada was a bit too close to comfort. Thus I would suggest allowing more time for people with these types of transfers or to not seat them at the very end of the airplanes.

Hassle with ETA for Canada but Delta staff at check-in were really great

Jun 1, 2018

The check-in staff and the unclaimed luggage staff were great!! They got me to my gate with time to spare. The gate staff were pleasant but I nearly missed my flight as they never called for group 3 or general boarding! I finally asked and they said, sure, go on down. They closed the door just a few minutes later!

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Saskatoon

Your trip to Saskatoon kicks off as soon as you've satisfied the security checks. Here are some hints and tips to make sure you pass through quickly:

  • Make sure you know the location of your travel ID and boarding pass. You don't want to hold up the line when you're asked to produce them.
  • Belts, wallets and power banks are to be put in a tub for X-raying. If you walk into the body scanner with any one of these items, you'll be turned back and instructed to remove them.
  • Make sure your laptop, phone and other electronic devices are easily accessible. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine in separate trays.
  • When it comes to traveling with liquids or gels, all passengers are allowed a quart-sized clear resealable bag to keep containers no bigger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters).
  • Undo your shoelaces as you approach the body scanner. Depending on the sort of shoes you're wearing, security may tell you to remove them.
  • Scissors and multi-tools are prohibited from entering the plane. Tuck them away in your checked luggage to avoid forfeiting them at the security checkpoint.
