How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Juneau
If you like the idea of spending more time at the airport bars and restaurants and less time wading through security on your way to Juneau, follow these handy tips:

  • Make sure your travel ID and boarding pass are easy to access. You will be instructed to produce them straightaway.
  • You'll have to put your tunes on pause for a few minutes. Earphones need to be taken off and placed in a bin to be X-rayed. The same applies to items such as heavy jackets and belts.
  • All laptops need to be removed from their carry bags and placed in a tray before X-raying.
