Had a great time in Juneau. We stayed at Grandma's Feather Bed Hotel for the last week in July 2018. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The fresh made breakfast was a great way to start off your day!

It felt like home

I came to Juneau to celebrate my granddaughters graduation. The room was decorated similar to my house, it was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. The only thing different from a B&B in the past was it had an open restaurant so the people didn’t mingle. It would’ve been fun to meet new people over breakfast.

Luxury away from home

Friendly staff that make you feel like they have known you forever. The rooms are warm and inviting. The featherbed heavenly. The dining room service and food awesome So relaxing after a long day at work.

Charming, great staff, decent breakfast

This place has a "bed and breakfast" vibe. Best Western took it over awhile ago, but it still operates with charm and friendly attention. Small and cute restaurant in the front, and your stay includes a hot breakfast of your choice. Each room has a jetted tub and a big feather bed. Also, each room is drastically different in design and appearance, which is kind of fun. (Note: When my folks stayed here last year, their room had a VERY tall bed...requiring use of the provided stool to get in and out. So if you have mobility issues, be sure to ask about that ahead of time). There is a bowl of candies and a basket of red apples on the front desk, and you can help yourself. Really appreciated the apples. It was great to grab a healthy/tasty snack as we headed out for adventure each day.

Best place to stay over in Juneau

We were pleasantly surprised when we were dropped off at Grandma's Feather Bed Inn in Juneau.  What a beautiful spacious room it was! We slept like logs, and woke up to a delicious included full breakfast menu. The room was immaculate, the staff was friendly, and the price was the same as if we had stayed in a motel room else ware, with continental or no breakfast included.  But, book ahead, because they book up fast!  After a week in a ship cabin, this Inn was spectacular!
