This hotel was OK for a 2 night stay. We had reserved 2 rooms and 1 of our rooms was not cleaned when we checked in. We had to move to another room. Some staff was very helpful, while others didn't seem to know what they were doing. The traffic noise was very loud day and night.

1 BR queen, with sofa bed in large sitting area, full kitchen and fridge. Sofa bed was bad, thin mattress, could feel springs. Had to ask for sofa bed sheets etc but no problem getting them. Shuttle service good, must reserve in advance. Walkable to sights in town though a little further than other downtown hotels. Helpful and friendly staff. Value about average for pricey Juneau in summer.

Overpriced and average at best

It’s not downtown Juneau. It’s a 30 minute walk from downtown- a long walk in the rain. No breakfast or any food available. If I was paying $100-150/night it would have ok value but for nearly $300/night, I expected better, a lot better.

This was like having our own 1-bedroom apartment, right on the ocean and walking distance to down town. We loved the kitchen and having a washer/dryer. Wonderful place to stay!

Clean, comfortable suite with older amenities. July 3rd was a loud night with local fireworks celebration , but the locals were having a blast (more power to them). About a mile walk to downtown, but it was a nice walk and a welcome after a day of flying.

Our room was not ready when we arrived, we had to wait almost 1/2 hour because it was not clean yet. The bathroom did not have any hooks or bars to hang towels on which was frustrating.

Staff was super helpful. The property is close the ‘whale sculpture’ and boardwalk. About a mile to Goldbelt tram and cruise ship dock. Bald eagles everywhere!

Juneau Hotel was a lovely place to stay. A great location within walking distance to everything, but far enough away from where the cruise ships dock to avoid the crowds and all their noise. A quiet, peaceful spot! Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. The hotel was humble, not fancy, but our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we need. My only issues were very minor ones. To be clear, despite these issues I would happily stay at Juneau Hotel again! Our room was weirdly warm, even though the thermostat was off. We had to spend a lot of time with the windows open. The heaters never felt warm so I don't know where the heat was coming from. The other issue was that the blinds weren't very effective, and since we stayed in June the sun was out 24/7. Both my wife and I still managed to sleep soundly, and I had sleep masks at the ready, but we didn't need them. No matter where I am staying, if I'm going to Alaska in the summer, I'm bringing a sleep mask, so I'd advise other travelers to do the same!

GREAT KITCHEN

OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL. GREAT LOCATION. QUIET, YET ABOUT A MILE TO TRAM STATION. THE KITCHEN WAS WELL OUTFITTED. MADE IT EASY FOR US TO COOK BREAKFASTS AS WELL AS DINNERS IF WE CHOSE. CLOSE TO HUMPBACK STATUE AND NOT FAR TO GROCERY STORE. MADE IT A VERY COMFORTABLE STAY.
