Flights To Jasper

Get away from it all when you book flights to Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Located in the Athabasca River Valley, Jasper has stunning natural scenery. Catch views from the mountaintops or try your hand at fly fishing on one of the local rivers. This former trading outpost is now the gateway to the Jasper National Park and the Canadian Rockies. Jasper flights may touchdown at Prince George Airport (YXS) but your vacation starts once you are surrounded by natural beauty.

Transportation from YXS

You will probably want to book a hotel in Jasper, which is not near the airport. The drive from Prince George Airport is approximately 234 miles, so daily commuting won't be an option. The airport offers a variety of transportation options including taxis and shuttles. Shuttle service might be an option if traveling with a large group, but renting a car is the best way to go. A number of rental car companies all have locations at the airport terminal building, so you can rent and go. Once you have transportation lined up, get started on the drive. Along the way are fun stops to turn the drive into a short road trip. As you head southeast along Yellowhead Highway, take a break to explore the Sugarbowl Grizzly Den Protected Area. It's 75 miles from the airport, making it an ideal spot for a driving break. Further along the highway is the Mount Robson Provincial Park, a great place for a picnic. It's just under 100 miles from your destination in Jasper.
