How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Basel
If you like the thought of spending more time at the airport restaurants and less time navigating your way through security on your way to Basel, follow these handy tips:

  • Make sure your passport and boarding pass are not difficult to reach. You'll be required to show them straightaway.
  • Remove your shoes and belt before approaching the security checkpoint. Items like these are not allowed to pass through the body scanner.

Five car rental companies serve the Swiss zone; you can find their desks in Hall 4, Level 2 of the terminal building.
