We’d chosen the hotel because it had a restaurant but on arrival we were told the restaurant was closed on weekends. So we had to get back in the car and drive to a fast food chain for an average meal. ..."

Looking at spending a bit of time in Chatelay? It will be a bit of a challenge to book a base in the town itself, however, by widening you search just a bit further out you'll be rewarded with a huge range of Travelocity recommended accommodation options. You'll find and experience everything Chatelay and the area nearby has to offer with 22 hotels spread around a 19-mile (30-kilometer) radius.
The Hôtel de la Vallée Heureuse - Domaine du Moulin, Franche-Comte, which is the closest accommodation, is situated 16 miles (25 kilometers) from the town center of Chatelay. A secondary close choice is the Relais du Silence Domaine du Revermont, in Franche-Comte, 18 miles (29 kilometers) from the middle of Chatelay.
14 miles (22 kilometers) outside of the town center of Chatelay, you will come across the Castel Damandre. Alternatively, the Grand Hotel des Bains can be found about 12 miles (19 kilometers) away. So we had to get back in the car and drive to a fast food chain for an average meal. Next morning, breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The area around the hotel is industrial so don’t be put off while you’re looking for the hotel address. There’s onsite parking, the rooms are basic but clean and nice staff. Completely different experience of Dole compared to the old city on the river but it was convenient."
