I arrived to the property,front desk staff was super friendly and were able to accomodote for me to get a room on the first floor.However upon inspecting my room I was completely dissapointed.There was what appeared to be pubic/beard hair in the bathtub, also attached to the bathmat and multiple on the handle of the hair dryer.I was able to get my room switched out but then noticed there was no shower curtain.Needless to sat would probably avoid booking any stay with this hotel in the future.

I do not recommend this hotel. It was dirty. The parking lot was dirty. The sidewalk was dirty. The glass window to my room was dirty. It had fingerprints like kids had been climbing in it. The floor in my room had a puddle in front of the refrigerator and the curtains were broken and disgustingly dirty. I had to call maintenance. It’s up to repair those issues. I took the top covers off of the bed and threw them in the floor because they had stains of something. I don’t know what in them the bathtub was stained. I think people are living in this hotel because there was a lot of people bringing in groceries and vacuuming their car in the parking lot and just randomness. It is also across the street from a closed rundown gas station and a closed rundown hotel. Yes they have coffee in the lobby, but it was the table that had the coffee on it was even dirty and disgusting. The staff were almost sleeping behind the desk. A true nightmare. Upon entering my room I noticed a strong chemical odor and my lungs immediately began burning, I was coughing uncontrollably and gasping for breath; I quickly left the room and returned to the office, they sent a staff member up and found that a careless staff member had left an ozone machine left on. Ozone is highly toxic and can only be used in unoccupied rooms, its a safety hazard and violation of OSHA standards punishable by fines up to $12,000. I was then kept waiting for more than 30 minutes to get a new room, after changing rooms did not receive housekeeping services for two days, TV inoperative, dirty faucet, used coffee cup left in Keurig machine, control panel on microwave broken. There were no paper coffee cups and when I called to report this I was told "you have to come down and get one yourself". Poor attention to detail by staff, poor customer service; will never stay there again

This is my third time staying here and I will always recommend it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We had one issue with noise and the staff resolved it immediately. This is the best place to stay with close proximity to anything you’d want to visit in Charleston. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! Thank you!

I had a very pleasant stay at Red Roof Inn Mount Pleasant. The location is excellent—convenient to shopping, dining, and just a short drive to downtown Charleston and local beaches. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly, professional, and accommodating from check-in through check-out. I especially appreciated how quiet and safe the property felt, which is not always easy to find when traveling. For the price point, this Red Roof Inn exceeded expectations. It offers great value, comfort, and convenience, and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Mount Pleasant or Charleston area.
