This particular unit is upstairs which was not clear from the listing. The steps are steep. And the deck is sloped with the railings rotted and unattached at the bottom in areas. Not ideal if you are older and have trouble with steps, or have small children. Having an outdoor seating area was nice though. The parking lot was spacious and easy to manage. The unit was very nice, updated, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The first bedroom with king bed was very spacious. The second queen bedroom was a tight space for two adults but manageable. The loft was cute but not functional for older adults. Noise machines were nice. Property managers were very responsive. Location was good. We enjoyed our stay here.

Clean property super cute coffee shop down the street! Had everything we needed. Would have liked to know about the stairs heading up to the place and there was no outdoor space to sit out.

The apartment was clean and neat and exactly as pictured. Communication was easy and quick. Location was within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and tourist sites. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this property is very nice. Close to many shops and restaurants and about a 30 minute drive from many things to see and do. This particular unit is upstairs and therefore, not handicap accessible. The upstairs loft space is nice, but not overly conducive for getting luggage to and has low ceilings. The overall suite is very cute, but small and likely best for no more than 4 guests. There is a small island with 4 chairs for eating.The hosts were very responsive to issues while we were there, however, the follow through was not present. The light in the second bedroom didn't work and no one came to look at it during our stay, even though we were told they would. In addition, one of the noise machines wasn't working and we were told they would bring a replacement, but did not (the apartment is very quiet and fans or noise machines are imperative).We would definitely consider staying here again, but in all honesty, our biggest complaint was the internet. There was a router in the suite, but it was only plugged into the wall. We were unable to stream anything on the TV without it freezing up and the internet was spotty at best. Unless this is fixed, it would be difficult to work remotely or even sit down to watch a movie on a day in. In addition, the signal was stronger in certain areas of the suite, leading us to believe that the actual router or access point was in one of the other suites in the home. On site parking was easy as well.

The space was clean and modern with good basic amenities in a good location. From that aspect I would give it 5 stars. However, it is a complex and the walls are paper thin. A family with children stayed next door and the kids were loud much of the night (3am) and the lite sleepers in our group had a hard time. The road noise is a bit loud as well. The management group was responsive, but there were limitations to what could be done. Just noting for those that are looking for a quiet spot.

Loved our stay at the Delana Suite, had everything we needed. The place was very clean and cozy and decorated so cute. It was in a great location with restaurants and coffee shop blocks away. Close walk to King Street for shopping. Had a little trouble with the keypad but called the office and had this rectified immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

The location could not have worked out better. The property management was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We had two couples for a birthday weekend and would highly recommend it. Can't wait to come back!

Happy Family

This was our first visit to Charleston and had no clue about where the best area to stay was for the best experience. Turns out we made an incredible choice. The place was perfect for our two teenagers, my wife and me. The property was clean and well appointed. We leaked nothing during our for night stay. My son loved the loft. Frankly that was our only issue ... Both kids wanted the loft! The location was ideal for our excursions whether that was King Street, College of Charleston or Folly Beach - each was very easy to get to from the Delana Suite. We loved the area, we will be back and will absolutely stay here again.

Great location, parking was easy and available. Decor was super cute although the furniture was a little uncomfortable. We had 4 adults and a teenager, the space was cozy at times. The loft was a decent size, but access was a little tricky.

Great neighborhood, easy access to city. Could use a frying pan, and some basic spices so that we didn’t have to buy full spice containers to use for one or two days, and then have to pack. Would be a nice touch.Loft bed difficult to use in very hot weather, even with fan. May want to explain that in description for summer month stays.

Charming and so conveniently located!

This property was beautifully updated with all amenities and in a great location for walking to many restaurants that we enjoyed. Off-street parking was a plus! Great communication with the host and easy check-in. .The stairs made luggage handling somewhat difficult when we arrived and departed so I mention that only for those who may need to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Well maintained, cozy, cute unit. Good size for two adults and two teens. The teens liked the loft that was accessible by ladder. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with travel toiletries. Walking distance to King St.

Fantastic. Clean. Great location. Great for our family of four.

My wife and two kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean and cool on our arrival. There are some great food places within easy walking distance, and the River is a reasonable walk. The area felt incredibly safe, and the neighbors were quiet. My kids loved the loft, and having two full bathrooms was a bonus. Full kitchen and appliances made leftovers worth taking home. It was our first trip to Charleston and we absolutely loved it.

Enjoyed my Charleston visit

Beautiful apartment. Great location. Clean. Has everything you might need from the kitchen to personal care items. Great parking. Good lighting of the back half of the house. It might be helpful to have some additional lighting for the steps to the upper apartments.
