The staff was courteous and helpful. The establishment was clean. The difficulty was with the payment.. the booking agent did not release prepayment made and there was payment again at the hotel on a very, very rainy night. I am wondering about reimbursement for over payment.

Too far away from the VA than I liked plus people were keeping their animals there and didn't really like were it was located

It was just "meh"

Pros: Hotel was conveniently located. There were 2 restaurants within walking distance or fast food available a short drive to the end of the road.
Cons: --
Location: Shopping mall across the way and multiple types of restaurants in the general vicinity.
It was just sort of "meh" Nothing horrible but nothing great. The wi-fi was occasionally slow but for the most part worked fine. There was not a lot of sound proofing, so if someone in the hall (or even across the hall) was talking loudly, you could sort of hear their conversation. The door to the room did not close very fully if you left the room so you need to make sure you check the door to secure your room. There is no ice maker on any of the floors but the room has a refrigerator but you'll need to turn on the icemaker when you get in the room (if you think you'll need ice).

Pros: The room was clean and the king size bed was comfortable. The furniture was in good condition and it was just very cozy.
Husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel in Charleston, S.C. and I was very impressed with our room. The bed was comfortable, the furniture was in good condition and overall the property was well maintained. I will stay here again when I am in the area.
