The staff was very friendly, the hotel is old, the shower doors were falling apart. The king bed was not king, because the gap between the headboard and matress was 6 inches. The trash truck showed up at 5am, I didn't get much sleep! I specifically booked this hotel for the Hot tub/Jacuzzi and of course it was NOT working! But the room cost more than locale hotels, because it had this amenity. They said i could have canceled the room for free, but i was already committed for a flight the next day. Im very disappointed for an IHG hotel. I wont be using these hotels again, and stay in a lot of hotels.

The airport shuttle was great. Loved that it ran 24 hours. Had late flight upon arrival and an early one in the morning Very clean, great employees and breakfast was great. Served real food not just waffles. They even had a PANCAKE MACHINE! What more do you need

Best Trip In A Long Time

What can I say? My experience was superb, from the friendly greeting on arrival, check in process, daily housekeeping if needed, hot breakfast, firm bed with soft pillows, blackout curtains, spacious, clean, no noise from the airport, prime location and late check out available. The five days I stayed was much needed and Holiday Inn Express delivered in every way. One minor note is the entrance to the hotel comes upon you quick so you have to pay attention. I recommend this hotel and will be back!

I feel the price was unusually high for this property, which is not updated, compared to other Holiday Inn hotels I'vestayed. My mattress springs were sticking me when I laid down. My microwave was missing a wheel, so it didn't spin properly. The air also didn't work compared to what I'm used to.

We came to Charleston for an event at the coliseum. The hotel was only a few blocks away, and they provided a shuttle. It made it so much easier than parking there. The hotel itself was well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
