The staff was great! They went above and beyond when I had a request for help w temp control in the room (the AC worked too well) and the thermostat didn’t seem to control it as advised per signs on the unit. The front desk put urgency on the request and the man who came to help was so nice, was respectful and very kind. Appeared the unit may still be controlling the temp (not thermostat) but we got a fix and quicker than I thought. Always helpful.

This experience was was sooo aweful and frightening, I tried to call the Hilton main number to get help getting out of there but I did not get help, I asked if It would be possible to move just across the street to Double Tree another Hilton property, but when I was transferred to “ customer service” they wanted to call the staff at the hotel, the very people I was trying to get away from. My flight got in very late at night and the shuttle driver thought I was going to be his “entertainment” What a horrible experience. I ended running away from there and getting another room on line at the Marriott for my second night in Charleston. I did have to pay for 2 hotel rooms but no amount of money is worth it. I would not recommend anyone staying there. And I will not stay at a Hilton again. The above was the the worst, but it did not stop there. most of the staff were rude and unhelpful. The rooms are outdated and on the border of being dirty, I just wish I could get the email address of the owner of this property because they need to “clean house”.

Bed too soft and pillows were wrong for me. Bathroom too small for 3 people in room (especially two women). Indoor pool was nice and cool but room very muggy. Needs ventilation. Entry/driveway confusing and at times dangerous.

Hotel is outstanding. Location was great, service was great, event facility was great and accommodated as needed. Breakfast was fabulous and met all expectations associated with a Hotel in this price range and requirements. Room was sizable and nicely decorated.
