This is the second time we’ve stayed in this hotel and it is immaculate every time. Staff is friendly and courteous. Especially the women maintaining the breakfast area. We will definitely use this hotel every time we visit the area.

Room was fine and bed very comfortable. Elevator was not operational so one had to carry all luggage upstairs to the room. TV would not work either. Staff tried to fix it but couldn’t.

The owners and front desk personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is very clean. Our king-size bed was very comfortable -- a nice soft pillow top over firmness for support. The hotel is set back from the road so it's very quiet. The breakfast was pretty awful -- strange, rubbery discs of powdered eggs. The fruit juices were probably from Sysco or US Foods and even though they said 100% juice, they in no way tasted like juice. I know this is pretty standard practice for free breakfast buffets, but this one was particularly lower end. Just be warned that you may want to make use of the McDonald's and the Starbucks that are a block away. However, the breakfast will not stop us from using this hotel again. It will definitely be our go-to place when we visit East Texas.
