Room clean , staff polite, breakfast good choice . Last time we stayed the mini bar was replenished everyday including cookies. This time it wasn’t replenished at all during our 3 night stay. This was reason this hotel stood out above the rest .

Room was large and great amenities. Very clean and a great bathroom with a large walk-in shower. It was a bit of a strangely shaped room but apparently this is the norm for this hotel. It was hard to get the room warm though so was a bit cold in November. Hotel is in a good location right downtown and easy to walk around but the address is a bit strange - easy for cabs/Uber to find us for pick ups but dropped us off about a block a way every night.

It was 4 degrees in Cardiff and our room had the A/c on for some reason. We had to request the front desk to alter to heat and it took about 2 hours to warm up. Although I booked the hotel in far ahead in August for our Nov 21st night stay we were put in an accessible room - NOT needed or requested. There were no extra blankets and the towel warmer was broken. The mattress was dipped in the center and my partner and I rolled together constantly - I guess that was one way to keep warm. When we let the staff in the morning know about the above issues she threw it back on me and said it was my fault as I had booked the accessible room!? False. Not appreciated.

We had a superior double room which slept 4, the room was spotless and was well furnished with good amenities. The only thing that let the room down was that there was no view out of the windows. Saying that we had a comfortable night's stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

We did not have breakfast but everything from check in to check out was excellent. The showers were particularly good and rooms decorated very tastefully and very comfortable. The complementary Welshcakes in reception were a nice touch. The hotel was centrally located on Queen street, very convenient for the Castle, shopping and Principality Statium. Definately recommended and would stay again

The directions to the hotel were useless, and the picture is misleading. For anyone walking, it's impossible to recognise the hotel from this picture. It took me 20 minutes of walking around in the dark in poor weather to find the rear entrance to the arcade that the hotel is in. Please change the welcome email to say that the arcade is opposite Boots and between Monmouthshire Building Society and Hays Travel. Then I had problems with the electricity in my room which stopped working TWICE which was inconvenient. The hotel team did sort me out with a different room but they also admitted that my first room was known to have electrical problems - that's not good enough, having electricity is a basic requirement in a hotel room in 2025.
The entrance to the hotel is nothing like the photo in the description. It's between two shops in this Cardiff shopping street.
