"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The resort offers many great amenities, and a wonderful mountain setting. The staff was friendly, and there was plenty to do. That said, the property could benefit from some maintenance and safety upgrades. My husband hit his head several times on a low beam over a stairway that wasn’t marked with any warning signage. We also noticed a few railings that felt loose or had cracks, which could become a safety concern if someone leaned against them. The elevators also seemed to need maintenance. Rather than coming to a smooth stop, they often ended with a noticeable jolt, which was a little unsettling. At the aquatic pool, the stairs leading to the children’s slide had anti-slip strips, but they were quite steep, and the hard surface at the bottom didn’t appear to have any rubberized safety padding!!! If a child were to slip or fall, the landing could result in a serious injury!!!!!! One other disappointment was paying extra for a Mountain View room (booked through Expedia) While we did have a mountain view, many guests with less expensive resort-view rooms appeared to have equally nice views, so we didn’t feel the upgrade offered much additional value. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the resort, but I hope the property invests in maintenance and SAFETY improvements, as it has the potential to be an great resort."
