Good stay

The stay was good. The service was great. The condition was a state of updating and making improvements. Overall it's a good stay for the price. It's not fancy and it's not the worst place I've walked into. The pool was down which was a bummer but weather ended up not being great so we wouldn't have used it anyway.

The king side bed had a large dip in the left side of the mattress which was very uncomfortable. The shower curtain is too little which results with water all over the floor whenever someone takes a shower. The room was on the 2nd floor. There is a patio door (but no patio), however the door did not lock and the screen was torn open leaving us feeling unsafe. The hotel speaks of a pool on their website, but the pool contains no water and is taped off for no access.

Look elsewhere for your stay.

Air conditioner did not cool. Screens on sliding doors are torn and worn out. hair dryer sparked and smoked when turned on, Bathroom sink had no stopper to fill the sink. Grounds were not kept; the outdoor trash cans were all overstuffed and trash was blowing around. Tree leaves and tumble weeds from the fall had not been raked up and this is the end of spring. Maintenance is greatly needed in all the rooms. I will not be staying here again. There are better choices in Canon City.

Pool dried up, no lock on inside of door other than bolt ( although latch IS there, just not the part bolted to door. ) Someone stole the power strip to the room so fridge, microwave and coffee machine not plugged in. ( although someone came to fix that issue quickly) Ice machine not working, many loose towel racks and robe hook. Fire alarm sounded as a fog machine set off the alarms from a party in rec room And we have been here 3 hours….i saw many great reviews and wonder what year they were done?

The hotel was as expected. Unfortunately there was a very large family there and they slammed doors on their multiple rooms hundreds of times all throughout the night and morning. Not the hotels fault but made for an uncomfortable visit. No working pool as advertised.
