Although the staff were helpful and kind, the hotel itself is dated and a bit run down. The rooms are large but smell musty and remind me of an old 90's hotel room. They were clean but dated. There is little to no parking around the hotel for guests. The stalls are small and too few for the number of rooms. I would not stay here again, although it could be a good value for someone looking for a cheap place in downtown Calgary.

This hotel is located at a convenient place with 10 min walk to River side or eating places. Being on the main road, it can be noisy at times. Reception desk is OK.

Perfect downtown location. We stayed in the King Suite, originally booked for a queen and we were given the option to upgrade. Parking is not free but it’s fairly reasonable

25 dollars for parking seems excessive and wasn't mentioned in Expedia's listing. I also chose a king suite and only got a queen. Hotel was okay but I probably wouldn't have chosen to stay there if I had known they charge for parking and construction across the street that stated at 7 am and delivery trucks with backup alarms.

I booked a room with a King size bed, which we didn’t get, it was more like a double,, but the suite was huge and well equiped.

There was no restaurant on the property, but there were restaurants within walking distance (we walked three times to restaurants). The facility is 13 stories high. Elevators worked quickly. Still, I don't like the idea of having to walk a dozen stories in case of fire. The room had a kitchen. That was a big plus. The bathroom was small and had an uncomfortable toilet seat.
