The rooms was not cleaned thoroughly. There were sticky residue on the kitchen counter. I had to disinfect the room with wipes. Also the dishwasher was broken and they couldn’t provide a scrub sponge to do the dishes… a slipper provided was used, noted for us to feel like home…. I wouldn’t trust that. At AC in the lounging/dining area was not circulating properly to the rooms. If was quiet hot during this summer.

The employees were fantastic and the room was clean. Good stay, but be warned: double check the info on parking and breakfast. Both are provided, but at an additional cost. It’s technically listed but you have to do a bit of digging to find that info. We also had a fire alarm go off at 1am in the pouring rain. The employee that helped us evacuate was excellent, but they never came to check on the people standing in the back of the hotel (us) until I walked in the rain to find that everyone out front had been let in. We appreciate it was a hectic moment but that stunk. Overall impression: Very friendly staff, nice rooms, below average experience.

The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lobby, which was decorated nicely for the Stampede, was small and cozy, including a shop where you can buy souvenirs, snacks, and some basic essentials. Unlike many Coast Hotels, this property is tired and in desperate need of a makeover. The rooms featured well-used and/or low-quality mismatched furniture, scratchy towels, and lumpy pillows. The kitchenette was tiny but well-stocked, though the fridge had been installed with the door on the wrong side, making it very difficult to access in such a cramped space. The A/C works well but the unit is in the living room, making it very difficult for the air to reach the bedroom which is down the hall. The elevators are small and slow. Open-air parking was unnecessarily expensive and appeared to be very limited. We were there during Stampede days so perhaps that explains the high price for these rooms. Otherwise, I'd skip this property and pay the same amount elsewhere for a more luxurious stay.

Kitchen in room was nice. Great housekeeping every day! Good value for the money. Only issue we had was not really their fault - a guest on another floor set off the fire alarm after midnight which disrupted our sleep having to go downstairs.
