The staff were all polite and helpful. The room was clean and well-equipped - it was surprisingly quiet. The view was not great, but we weren't expecting that anyways. The thing that was great however, was the walkability. There were so many really good restaurants nearby, and it was just a few blocks to the C-line, not to mention great shopping, and some historical sites as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Although the staff were helpful and kind, the hotel itself is dated and a bit run down. The rooms are large but smell musty and remind me of an old 90's hotel room. They were clean but dated. There is little to no parking around the hotel for guests. The stalls are small and too few for the number of rooms. I would not stay here again, although it could be a good value for someone looking for a cheap place in downtown Calgary.
