"This was the PERFECT setting for my partner and I’s engagement trip. The first time we met was at my cottage in Ontario, a little cottage in the trees. And this cabin gave us all the exact same feelings of comfort, love, and safety that we get from our family cottage in just the short two night stay we had in it. We were VERY WELL taken care of, with the host making his way down to start the hot tub each morning and being clear that we were able to contact him for anything we may need. My new fiancé and I are very thankful for the experience and the memories it has created for us. In terms of the amenities, there are ample towels, tons of wood, board games, and all the kitchen items one may need. The hot tub is BEAUTIFUL to sit in under the stars (p.s keep an eye out for the dippers!), very consistent hot water for the bath (which also has a shower head attachment to rinse off which was a huge plus), and a sweet kitty friend who comes to visit made us smile non-stop. Thank you for having us, we would come back in a heart beat. "

"Everything was wonderful, but unless Expedia has corrected their website, there is NO lounge/bar. At the time I booked it was listed as an amenity. I called Expedia to report the error, so hopefully it was corrected. The hotel website is correct in their list of amenities. We had a great stay, regardless. "
