The Covered Bridge Inn is a bad place to stay. The hotel host was nice but provided no info about the hotel. The hotel is run down and the grounds is dirty with cigarette butts everywhere and the lobby smells of pot and cigarettes. I booked a non smoking room which is on the second floor but the entire floor and room smelt of cigarettes. There is no elevator so you have to drag your bags up the stairs. The carpet is dirty, chair is stained, the drapes were dirty, and all smelled of cigarettes. It had a mini microwave & coffee pot which I didn’t use but the mini-fridge worked! The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the tv had no movie channels, but there was free WiFi. The shower had pink dirt or mold, but the water pressure was OK. It is the least expensive hotel in the area so if you don’t mind a run down place smelling of cigarettes you can try it; I DO NOT recommend this hotel, and don’t understand how it got a high 8 star rating.

This place is in need of a serious update. The room was relatively clean and the bed pretty comfortable. The property just looks worn down and neglected.

Our stay was 10/4/25. A bad odor was the first thing we noticed when entering the room. I described it as musty/moldy smelling. We did have a carpeted room.The lighting is terrible as well. Our friends were in another room. It was a non-carpeted room. The floor was dirty(like it needed to be swept well). there was a dead bug on the floor in the bathroom. the toilet did not flush well. The room also had a non-pleasant odor. Continental breakfast is very basic. No hot foods other than if you toast your bagel. There was whole fruit..apples and bananas. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, danish, bread, bagels, and cereal. I would never want to stay here again based on the odor and how dirty it was. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. It needs a lot of maintenance and remodeling.

We were initially put off by the look of the outside of this “Inn”! But it turns out we were greeted by a smiling and polite person during check in. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had thick towels and well stocked. All and all it was a very pleasant stay at a very reasonable price!

I have requested a refund. I attepmted to cancel but your site kept kicking me off. I arrived at the hotel that day at 2pm. It was concerning. Sketchy people hanging outside smoking, windows were clearly moldy, the lobby smelled of marijuana. I left and tried to cancel the room but kept getting kicked your site.

Room was pretty clean, but was poorly laid out, had weird TV controls, and was certainly not really handicapped accessible in spite of being advertised as such. While it did have a chair height toilet, it was actually a high wall tub/shower with no handheld shower and the only grab bar was completely in the wrong area to grab on to for support when you need it because you are actually handicapped as I am, and book these types of rooms because I actually need to be able to count on them. I asked the desk clerk about the lack of the walk in shower stall and handheld showerhead that I was promised and he said they didn't actually have any of those. Additionally, what they call a breakfast was actually pretty lacking by todays standards of most other motels, and it is held in a regular motel room, so the size of the breakfast space is very severely limited along with any semblance of any real selection, or even much quality to any of the offerings that were there. If you do happen to stay here you should probably just plan on just going next door to McDonalds to buy yourselves a breakfast, as this places breakfast definitely isn't likely to do it for you or your family.
