"The historic Jared Coffin House is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Nantuket. The old rooms are charming, and the stay includes a tasty continental breakfast in the main level parlor room. The location in the heart of the downtown shopping district provides quick access to stores, restaurants, and the ferry boats. The staff is outstanding and is always there to assist guests with their needs."

"The Sailor's Room on the 3rd floor is a great value for a single person. When I arrived, a staff member carried my large suitcase up for me. The room had a small blow dryer, TV, iron & board and a steamer. Wish all the amenities had been disclosed so I could have left my steamer at home. The twin bed was comfortable. There is an outlet by the bed. The closet has a lot of room to hang clothes and store your luggage. There are also several drawers to store your things. There is a chair in the room. The window has a distant view of the water. 3 minute walk to the Nantucket Hotel where the rest of my clan was staying and a short walk to town. It was quiet and another couple I knew was also staying there in a bigger room. The first 2 nights the A/C was on continuously, but I was ok with it because there was an extra blanket in the closet. The bathroom is small, but is ok as long as you are not a very large person. I recommend this room if you want to save money and don't mind being up on the 3rd floor. Not bad for a 255 year old B&B!"
