I complained about live bugs crawling on my bed, in my bed, on the wall. Manager came over and confirmed. I was heading out for a dinner reservation and manager offered a move, which I could not do at that moment as I had to head out. I took pictures of bugs, coffee spills on the counter, sand all over the floor, nail clippings from previous customers, dirty floors in the bathrooms and was told management would call me to compensate. Never heard a word from the hotel. Called them back, told that as this was a third-party vendor, Expedia, they could offer me a discount for any future stay. Unacceptable.

My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at Nantucket inn. The room was spacious and very clean. The property was well maintained . We enjoyed a few hours at the outdoor pool one afternoon which was very nice. We took advantage of the free shuttle to town as well as to surf side beach. The shuttle service was very prompt despite the heavy traffic much of the time. We will definitely be back and would recommend the Nantucket Inn.

Pros: Staff was great, the room interiors have been very nicely updated, the garden sitting areas are wonderful, nice to have the outdoor pool area, and great shuttle service to town, Cons: Outside infrastructure (stairs, boardwalks, etc) is run down; traffic to town during the day is horrendous so not easy access; price is high relative to value offered.

Wonderful staff. Poor rooms

Let first start by saying that the staff here were so lovely, friendly and always helpful. The lobby and main building have recently been updated and aesthetically appealing- furniture, color pallet, decor and eye for detail, all well done. Now, if the rooms reflected this level of upgrade I would be leaving 5 stars all around and would return however, The rooms were baron and sterile feeling with no accent pillows or artwork on the walls (such a small cost for a big return). Decks and grounds were lacking and not appealing at all. It seems they achieved what they were trying to do learning in gas through the beautiful updates of the main building and lobby to only be caught in a bait and switch with the rooms.
