Dogs barking at night.
Pretty much the only issue I had with my stay at Motel 6 in Meridian was we were there for 3 nights. Had dogs barking off and on all three nights. Finally on night 3 because was more frequent I called front desk. Was told they couldn't do anything unless they heard the dog bark and then ask if the owner could manage. I didn't felt heard at all. Would not stay there again. Staff friendly but interrupted sleep was the main problem.

Very spacious room, the pool was nice (though I couldn't figure how to switch on the jets for the spa!). Staff helpful. There was no parking spots free the first night - a giant moving van was taking up about 10 spaces, so I had to park at the Home Depot. Dodgy people were hanging around the motel parking lot in the evening - I expressed my concern to staff & they went and spoke to the people. No diet drinks in the pop machine! Overall, it was a very quiet room with lots of hot water for the shower. The air conditioning was quiet enough to sleep through. Good value for money.

Not The Best Not The Worst
The stay wasn’t the best, also not the worst.. For starters the rooms are definitely not worth $100 a night. Most of the time the staff were no where near the front desk rather out on a smoke break with what seemed to be friends or family. The ice machines were broken & overheard complaints of the pool being overly chlorinated. They didn’t have ANY extra towels or pillows for guests seemed like they were all being used up by the staff living on site. Hopefully you’re not allergic to cats or dogs there are a TON sitting in multiple room windows.

The room was very very basic. The only thing you received with the room was soap. There wasnt shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, coffee maker etc. I received no maid service during my four day stay.

My check in time of 3pm was delayed due to the staff member who's shift was ending didnt seem to want to do anymore than they had to. I was told it would be about 10-15min wait. Checked in at 3 pm when someone else came in for their shift, room was nice at first glance, plastic trash under the bed, and 2 splatter marks of god knows what on 2 walls. I had to go back to the front desk later in the day to ask for towels because there was only a wash cloth and bath mat. Not impressed to say the least

I recently had stayed at this location due to unforeseen circumstances. At first, I would say that my feelings were not reflected in the review I’m leaving. I checked in to the property and had zero issues, until settled in To my room. It was later evening, and I was getting ready to turn in for the night when out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a bug crawling across the floor heading toward a corner chair in the room. I had attempted to smash it with no luck a it retreated under chair. Following morning while getting ready for work I noticed the bug again, this time there was multiples. In the bathroom outside the bathroom, walls floors. I took photos and a video, mentioned it t the front desk the next evening after returning from work. They did they’d pass it along and had a pest guy come out whom saw nothing. It was couple nights stay after that I was told i was in a do not rent list and turned away. I was accused of smoking cigarettes in my room with photo documentation of it, which is odd as I don’t smoke period. I WILL se to it that this IS resolved as the manager has refused via an email complaint to the guest services with motel 6 not to refund anything and remain on no rent list. Good luck to anyone going in after me..
