One night stay at Bally's Hotel, Dover, Delaware

Our stay at Bally's was very nice. We were very late checking in and the front desk staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. We had reserved a room with a king bed and we were informed that there were no more regular king beds available by the time we checked in so they had upgraded us to a King suite. If we had any complaints it would be that we only had one night to stay. The suite was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

I attempted to check in early at 2pm for an additional fee but the reservation wasn’t in the system. I waited 50 minutes before I could check in. I had an important work meeting at 3pm so there was just an unnecessary level of stress put on me because my reservation wasn’t in the system and there was no business office to have my meeting in. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else ever. The pool was under construction as well and not working. We came with our 7 year old son and I don’t recall seeing this documented anywhere in the reservation process.
