Hotel Alpina Ros Demming
"Really enjoyed our stay at Alpina Ros Demming in Berchtesgaden. Great views and location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful…delivered fans to our room upon our request, stored our wine and cheese in fridge, and loaned us plates and wine glasses to use in our room. Parking at hotel is limited, but we found a spot all but one time. There’s a large city parking lot at the bottom of the hill, if needed. It’s not a long walk to the Marktplatz, but the shortest route is up a steep hill. Balconies are great, but only semi-private, as there are no dividers…not that anyone strayed from their designated space that we saw. As with almost all hotels in Berchtesgaden, there is no air conditioning, but we left our balcony doors wide open at night, and with the borrowed fan, it was comfortable to sleep, even when the days were hot."
