Room temp wouldn't cool, & beds uncomfortable. Water in shower & sink took 5 minutes to heat up.

Bad experience!!!

I requested a room with a king bed unfortunately I did not receive that room and was not accommodated in any type of way,also they tried to overcharge me for my room when I checked out even though I paid my total bill at at check in. My food was terrible the steak was tough and taste like it expired and was no good and then they gave me another steak that was tough and didn't taste as well either. My stay at this hotel was terrible and I will not be returning for any reason it would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful Property

We visited for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. The resort was beautiful and the rooms were decorated lovely. Most important the staff was exceptional in every way. Every single staff member we encountered couldn't have been more friendly, courteous and helpful! We will definitely be returning! Thank you, Margie & Marv

Wonderful Resort

Pros: The room, the hotel staff, and the restaurant (the food was delicious, and we are vegetarian).
The resort was beautiful and the staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We are looking forward to future trips and stays here when we return in the summer for our daughters return to Univ of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. This is a short drive from the airport and a wonderful and relaxing end to a day of travel from the west coast.

A pretty standard luxury hotel that nickel & dimes guests big time

The property is well maintained but the rooms are none too big and you certainly pay a premium price for both rooms and dining; too be expected, of course. What is not expected is the way the hotel charges a huge rate for daily internet usage - around $11.50 and they even charge $5 plus taxes for packages delivered for guests and picked up by them at the reception desk. Just be sure you're aware of the additional charges.
