The hotel itself was fine, nice, clean, and had friendly staff. The area is rough, and I do not recommend staying in this area with children. There are a lot of homeless people and drug addicts, and getting to the light rail means wading through some unsafe areas.

Historic with modern comforts

Fantastic stay at the Arctic Club! I've always wanted to stay here and it completely lived up to my expectations. Very attentive staff, beautiful accommodations, building and decor. Loved the corner King room. We found a nearby, indoor parking lot for a much better overnight rate compared to the valet-only overnight option offered by the hotel. We were able to easily walk to Pioneer Square and the Smith Tower. Located just across the street from Link Light Rail, too. Loved staying here and will certainly be back!

Not a repeat hotel for me.

Surprised by the high reviews. While the bed was comfortable, that was about the only really nice thing. Breakfast was meh. I woke up to the sprinkler in my room spraying water everywhere. The hotel itself felt very dingey. Bar staff was nice but not very attentive and did not know how to make a martini. It smelled old and like mildew.

Historic and unique. Lobby is beautiful and welcoming to hang out in. Staff was all wonderful. We attended a concert in house which was nice. Location was amazing and walkable to pikes market, the waterfront, pioneer square, the great wheel, the aquarium and a short uber to the space needle. Breakfast included was very nice and high quality I. A restaurant style room rather than a nook or conference room like other places we have stayed. The architecture of the building was beautiful and unlike any other hotel we have ever been too. Definitely recommend!! Valet parking was nice and felt safe, but was a bit expensive at $65/night. And don’t drink the beautiful custom bottles of water unless you plan on paying $8 each for them. It was my bad that I didn’t read the card on them, oops. Overall a great place!

Good stay, dim lighting everywhere, lobby & bar area is extremely fragrant, rooms are decent although in my personal opinion can use a deep clean. Otherwise staff is extremely kind & helpful, bar drinks & food were good.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Arctic Club Seattle. The hotel is incredibly atmospheric, and it feels like stepping back in time. It’s not just another modern hotel — it’s an opportunity to experience history, immerse yourself in the past, and see how things once were. I was impressed by the cleanliness, the soft and comfortable bed, and the high-quality water. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. They also offer a complimentary breakfast, though I found it to be more of an acquired taste as I personally prefer more vegetables, which were unfortunately missing. The interior deserves special mention — the fireplace is stunning and add a cozy, unique charm. The only downside is the issue with homelessness in the surrounding area, but once inside, it’s a completely different and beautiful world. Overall, I had a very positive experience! If you love history and an authentic atmosphere, Arctic Club Seattle is an excellent place to stay.
