Parador Nature Resort and Spa
"We loved our stay here! We could see monkeys from our balcony (Tropical room type), the included breakfast was great, and the pools were very nice. We did have a lot of stairs to our room without easy access to an elevator so if you are mobility impaired at all you should let them know in advance. The AC was quiet and cold. They have a really nice jungle walking path on property. We also saw sloths, toucans, iguanas, and lots of other creatures. It's about ten minutes walk to Biesanz Beach (bring cash to rent chairs/equipment and get (very good and fresh) food and drink on the beach-not through the hotel). They have a shuttle that takes you to Manuel Antonio National Park so you don't have to worry about parking there. Only negative is that the onsite food is very expensive, even for a resort. We went into Quepos and either went out or got takeout for most meals. I really loved our stay here and would go back in a heartbeat!"
