"Good stay"
Great central location from Commercial center, although a ways from tourist sites, making it hard to transport in/out due to traffic. Hotel ambience very good and courteous staff!

"Great Location for Tourists. "
We have traveled to Bangkok twice in the last 4 years and stayed here both times, although the former owner was Marriott. If you're traveling to Bangkok to see the Place, the Pagodas, the canals, or just about anything other than the inner-city, this is the place to stay. It's out of the congestion and noise of the inner-city, on the river, quiet and scenic. The hotel runs a boat on the river that will shuttle you to a main station shortly up river where you can catch public boats to all the sights and beyond. Take the express to where you want to go, or the local to see it all. The extra charge for the breakfast buffet on the back terrace is convenient, diverse and well worth it. The Trader Joe's and Benehani restaurants on the property are great for dinner and entertainment. The hotel assistant manager even shared our table one night for an engaging conversation. There is a huge, attractive pool, great for cooling off or sunning. There are certainly less expensive places to stay in Bangkok, but even the lowest priced rooms at the Anatara are a good deal.

"Four Seasons Bangkok defines luxury and exceptional service."
This is hotel exudes classic elegance and professional service. The lobby and dining areas are impressive. The pool is large enough for lap swimming and fully staffed. The workout facility was wonderful as well and complimentary for hotel guests. It included a reading area with refreshments, wet and dry sauna, and wonderful whirlpool hot tub with a waterfall. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The housekeeping staff worked like fairies to turn down our room, decorate a special birthday surprise, and attend to our every request promptly without seeming overbearing. I would like to note that even though the hotel was undergoing some renovations at the time - our stay was not affected at all.

"Good hotel not in central Bangkok"
We stayed for 8 nights at the Centara Grand and Central Plaza last week. I would say the hotel is an average 4-5 star Asian hotel. Similar to what we have seen in Japan, Korea, China etc. We had a club room and it is spacious enough and the amenities are all quite modern. A master control for AC and all the lights with a built in alarm clock is a very welcome addition. Plugs at the desk area will accept normal N. American 110V plug so an adapter is not necessary. We had a very comfortable king bed and the TV does have several American channels with good programming. Room service prices are reasonable by N. American standards but of course, it is much more expensive than dining outside of the hotel. The reception desk is very helpful when our first room had a AC water leak and quickly moved us to another club room. The fitness center had a large weight room but the treadmill/elliptical/stationary cycle area is relatively small. It contained 4 ellipticals, 3 treadmills and a 2-3 stationary cycles. The pool is outdoors and very warm. It is barely big enough do do some laps. The change room is relatively basic when compared with 4-5 star hotels in Japan and Korea. Breakfast buffet in the Chatuchack Cafe is again fairly standard fare for an Asian Hotel with both Asian and European fares. Coffee is nothing to write home about. We did not try the other restaurants in the hotel as Central Plaza Mall is attached to the hotel and has numerous eating establishments available at a

"Downtown Hotel"
The hotel is about 15 min, walk from main street (BTS or skytrain), they offer a free Tuc Tuc ride to and from main street.. The swimming pool and exercise faciliates are excellent. I did not try their breakfast however if you go to a near by shopping center (Terminal 21), there is food court on the fifth floor that has very good selection. The always have coffee and a tea drinks in the lobby every morning. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Adjusting the air conditioning took a few attempts to get it just right otherwise you will have condensation all over the floors. I would definitely stay there again.

"Wonderful stay in lovely hotel"
We stayed in a one bedroom suite for 3 nights which was very comfortable and spacious. The view of the river was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide range of options. The staff members were very helpful and courteous. The river ferry was great, allowing us to easily see many sites in Bangkok. We would love to stay there again someday!

"Exploring Thailand "
We stayed in 5 hotels while traveling about Thailand & this was the best. We stayed in Bangkok twice & this was more expensive than the other but WELL worth it! We splurged & got an Executive PH suite, which to our surprise included free apps & drinks from 5-7:30pm & breakfast! When I originally planned the trip I had a hard time finding a place that slept 3 people, in the location we wanted because most hotels only have 1 king or 2 single beds. I found out later that they all have roll always for a fee. While we were staying at the other hotel, we checked out the Windsor & found this out. You just need to let them know in advance that you need the roll away or you'll be charged more. We were all very comfortable here!
