Room Description and pictures on the website were quite misleading. The website Claimed the room to be a Bay View room, but in fact, it is a room behind large, squeaky, wooden stairs that lead to the upper rooms, with only a tiny peak of the bay through the stairwell. We would have avoided booking the room to start with, if we had known this fact alone.
But equally bad, is the automated check in. There is no registration front desk, or staff on premises. All done via text or phone call. You received a text link to a required registration form, allowing check in instructions and access code to your room door to be sent back to you. It asks for a picture of your ID, a credit card number, etc. Once you fill this form out, and hit send, there is no feedback that your form was received by the property. No instruction text was sent. Nothing. Unsettling. At about the 1pm hour, I got uncomfortable enough to call. Answering machine picked up, and I asked if they had received my info. The offshore call center called me back a few minutes later, telling me they had received it and would text me at check in at 4pm. Which they did, but the access code line to get into the room was left blank. I texted them about this, and 15min later they texted back the same form, but this time with a working access code. Day 2 of our stay, another couple inputs their code into our keypad, and walks into our room. Website had double book our room, giving this couple access to our room. Very Scary.
