The area around the hotel is beautiful with easy beach access. Just to be clear- there is an old section and a new section, and this review is in reference to the old section. To begin, there are no windows and you have to choose between being in utter darkness or be on display for everyone walking by in the balcony. The door is a sliding glass patio door that opens out to the walkway. For any privacy you need to pull a curtain in front of door. There is no air conditioning, just a tiny wooden window that allows a little bit of air through. The room is “rustic” and outdated. The ceiling panels in room 206 are sagging and appear to have sustained water damage. The shower leaked non stop and the bathroom floor has been damaged by excessive water. The toilet seat was broken. There are cigarette stains in the linoleum and the wall has moldy grout. There are no dressers and no refrigerator. The bedding was stained and well-worn. I did not feel comfortable here in the least. My standards are not high, but compared to this place I would have been more satisfied camping in my car.

An amazing place to stay With a great view of the ocean. I highly recommend spending a little extra money and getting a newer unit that is not a rustic unit.

I liked the location and access to activities there. My biggest problem was.the bathroom in the room. I don't know where they got their toilets from but it is lower than my great grand kids potty. I'm 6 feet tall and sat wlith.my knees under my chin and my personal parts floating in the water. There is a park a short ways away with a bathroom and the hike is healthy. That's all I got to say about that.

We stayed in a rustic unit paneled in wood. It seemed like a blast from the past! My companion really liked it. Our room had a wonderful Ocean view and a separate sitting area complete with loveseat and coffee table. There was a nice mini fridge, but it would have been even better if there had been a microwave in our unit. Breakfast was nice and served either in the lobby with great views of the ocean or if you were in a hurry, you could could grab a to-go bag containing your breakfast. Breakfast was well thought out.They even had almond milk for those who prefer to plant based alternative to dairy for their coffee and cereal.

A wonderful hotel with great ocean views from every room, patio, or deck. Ask for an upper room for the best views. Its nice to open the sliding door and hear the ocean. Views from each room is as good as it gets. Very clean room (119) clean hotel and clean property. We'll be returning.
