Old world Meets new

Location: Great Seaford at Berthas, huge breakfast are Koopers Tavern. Don't forget Max's, the Horse Your Rode In On for lively entertainment.
Enjoyed the Admirals Inn at Fells Point. Very warm and inviting room. Stayed on a Saturday thru Monday. The noise level from the surrounding streets was audible but not overwhelming. It did not hamper our sleep. Loved seeing "The Admiral" telling tales of hauntings in the Inn and surrounding area. He is quite the character! Enjoyed the surrounding area, great food, people and laughter. Stay at the Inn, you will not regret your decision. We will definitely stay again!

Pros: Close restaurants, surrounded by bars, quaint and historical
Cons: Noisy, pay for parking
We've enjoyed staying at the Admiral Fell Inn for the past 15 years. However, this last trip might be our last. The room needed updates. The carpet was stained in many places, the curtains were falling down, the tile in bathroom was cracked, the air conditioning was weak, and the king bed was only so-so in comfort. Location is wonderful right by the water taxi in the heart of Fells Point. But weekend visitors tend to be rowdy at night and we were woken by cars honking, people yelling, etc, both Friday and Saturday nights. If you want to stay out until the bars close, the noise won't bother you but if you are planning on turning in before midnight, you might want to stay in one of the partner hotels instead.

The location is great!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
My granddaughter and I checked in on Thursday evening and left on Sunday morning. The staff was very pleasant. Our room was very comfortable, but there was no microwave or mini refrig. Lots of ESPN channels but no HGTV or Food Network or Disney. The area is very lively, and at nite there is a lot of noise, laughter, music, cars honking, but I'm sure there are other rooms farther away from the action. The location was great - right across the street from the water taxi. Many restaurants, bars, and shops within a couple of blocks. Totally charming area. I would highly recommend it.

We loved this charming, historic hotel and its great location. The staff was all terrific too. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Cons: Noisy
Great hotel, historic charm, great location, right where the action is, but quiet rooms. Room was very large. That said, we could hear the bar scene from the street below late into the night on Saturday (but not on Friday when we arrived). Staff was very helpful. Great inexpensive restaurants in the vicinity for dinner and breakfast. Valet parking only.

Charming old fashioned comfort

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: small bathroom
I stayed at the Admiral Fell In with my husband, 3 11 year old girls and a 14 year old boy. We all felt it was a wonderful adventure. We felt like we stepped back in time to a kinder, more formal atmosphere, where people take pride in their behavior. The hotel is charming. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. When we went out for a way-too-late dinner, they welcomed us back with alacrity. The twins at the front desk became the people that the twins traveling with us sought. The rooms had romantic individualism, with 4 poster beds and classic furniture. They didn't feel like every other place you've stayed. Yet the modern day amenities were present as well. The bathroom was a little cramped, but wasn't our priority any way. We stayed in the winter, so didn't experience the hub bub that apparently happens in the summer. I am a light sleeper, and sleep with ear plugs at my house. My sleep was not disturbed. We are eager to return for a stay in a warmer season.

Very nice hotel

This is a very nice hotel in the center of Fells Point. Within walking distance of many restaurants and pubs. Friendly staff and a better than average breakfast.
