Room was generally clean. Staff was generally nice. Except when we checked out they were rude. There was a fiasco regarding our breakfast plan that we paid for but didn't get. But did get refunded for. Overall I had to ask for several other things to be done during our four day stay. Although they were generally receptive and had an easy texting feature to talk with a staff member for help. If I stay downtown again I'll be choosing a different hotel.

Reason for the low rating, on the listing it says room service (limited hours), which was one of the things I wanted. As I was checking in I asked about the room service and the hours. The lady checking me in confirmed it was available and that it ends around 9:30pm. I had just flown in (completely exhausted) that day and came straight from the airport. Around 7pm, I decided to scan the QR code for room service, ALL the starters and entrees were not available. The part that annoyed me the most was that I had to start checking out before the website noted an offering was unavailable. I tried calling the room service line multiple times and no one answered. Had I known, I would have picked up something on the way in or walked to a nearby restaurant for takeout right after checking in. I was a solo female for the first night and didn’t feel comfortable venturing out once it started getting dark. This all happened after checking in, taking 2 separate elevators to my room, noticing it smelled horribly of cigarettes, requesting a new room, taking all my stuff back down via the 2 elevators, grabbing new keys and heading up to my new room via 2 elevators again with all my stuff. There’s no bellhop and only 4 trolleys. None was available upon checkout. The location is great. Near public transportation, restaurants and a CVS within walking distance. Housekeeping was great, they did a fantastic job. There’s valet with QR code to request your vehicle, really fast service.
