"So noisy throughout the night. Very thin walls and workmanship. Asked to be moved on second night but manager said all rooms were the same way. Other guests behind me at counter were complaing about outlets not working and one guest said they had to unplug refrigerator due to noise it made. Building was very nice but horrible stay."

"This was the first time I stayed at The Buxton, a Best Western Motel. I stayed here because of the close proximity to the Colorado State University campus. This motel was built in the 1960s and was recently renovated. My room had a wonderful retro vibe that made it quite relaxing! My room included a king-sized bed, which was very comfortable. Overall, the room was clean and cozy. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of towels and washcloths are provided in the tiled-floor bathroom. Parking is free, with a lot of available spaces. Checking in and out was a breeze and the front-desk staff are very courteous. I would definitely stay here again. The motel restaurant was closed due to renovations (will open in a couple of weeks), but there are plenty of great breakfast options in historic downtown Fort Collins. My only criticism: the desk in the room is ridiculously narrow in terms depth/width, which was located directly under the wall-mounted flat screen TV. I suppose this was chosen for the sake of space. A desk with a more standard width would be more functional for guests."
