The hotel lobby was great. The person who checked us in was nice and professional. The rooms had a lot of problems. Both of our rooms were infested with gnats. The bathroom sink in my room barely drained and there were hairs on the bathroom floor that definitely weren’t mine. The shower didn’t work in my friend’s room. (They fix knock 25% off the price of her room.) Do not get in the tower. We paid extra for this and all we got for it was a view of the parking lot and a more direct line for the VERY noisy interstate less than a half block away 2 starts is generous.

I slipped and fell in the bathroom that had a wet floor by the bar. was injured and the manger Melissa was the rudest most dismissive person I have encountered in a long time. she was telling me it was my fault I feel because I was not careful. "well it was a freaking accident! what do you expect me to do about it!" this is what i was told. I normally frequent this property and becasue of her I will never return

We had issue with our AC. We called someone and they sent maintenance up at 9 pm. He juggled a few things and said ok. It was a miserable nights sleep we had a race we were running the next morning so after the race when we came back the room was miserable so we called yet again and they said we will send someone up when they get to work. We asked for another room and after an hour of complaining we were switched to another room

Stay away from this hotel! Terrible experience

Terrible experience! The air conditioning in our room was not working so we complained at the front desk. The lady said she is sending someone to fix it, but no one came. We couldn’t sleep all night due to this. Next day when I told them during checkout that no one came to fix it, the lady just said ‘OK’. No apologies whatsoever. The toilet was broken and kept wobbling and the washroom was dirty too.

Won’t Stay Here Again

First, let me say that the staff was nice, but it pretty much goes downhill from there. Honestly I get it if you aren’t going to wash the sheets for 3 days, but they don’t make the beds, empty the garbage, or replenish towels and supplies? We were there to move a kid into college. We were gone alll day. When we got back I had to ask for toilet paper, tissue (lots of crying involved) towels so we could shower after long sweaty days of move in. Thank god we brought shampoo and shower gel because a 1 oz bottle of each was good for two showers max. It was not replenished. There were three of us staying plus the kid moving in hanging for last minute quality time. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work. After the first night I asked if they could try to fix it, and it was fixed for a couple of hours, but by the next day it was hot in the room again. This wouldn’t even be that horrible except for the fact that our room had no window to the outside, only the hall way. We all slept horribly. No natural light, no fresh air. I had to come back one day to do some work, and I couldn’t even stay in the room, it was too hot and stale. I made the reservation month ago, so it was about $500 for three nights, but I would have expected a more comfortable stay for $99 a night. I’m sick of getting taken advantage of for having to stay in college towns for high volume weekends. Let’s normalize service for payment no matter when you’re staying.

The staff is excellent and very courteous. The facilities are a mess. Our room was missing baseboard in the bathroom for mold and mildew to penetrate bc the wall was broken apart and it could not be cleaned, bathroom door wouldn’t shut from being painted multiple times, bathtub grout was missing and stained, hallways were dank and smelly, fire doors which were labeled “keep closed” were propped open and some broken, door to outside on side of building was not working well and the deadbolt was thrown so the door wouldn’t close, allowing unauthorized access at any time. The outside of the building was crumbling. There were cracked tiles in common areas along with carpet edge either missing or loose. Loose railing by the breakfast lounge along with loose and broken tiles on the stairs. Spa taped off and out of service. Ice maker out of service. Seriously, just take a normal look around and there is sloppy renovations and tile work, gapping toilet paper holders with paint all over them. We almost left for another hotel, but everything in the area was booked. I heard other guests complain as well. We had planned on making this hotel our home base while visiting local family. There are things that simply should not be ignored and they are being ignored. Sorry, wish I could say it was better for the sake of their hardworking employees.

The front desk clerk ahe started a few weeks earlier she was amazing. My son left sick. When we got there it was stuffy the maintenance came down our 2nd day there because we were hot all night from the ac not working. I had to reset it with the red button 7 more time before checkout. There was hair in the shower along with black mold. Room 109....im not one to complain . My son is 16 his father passed unexpectedly last month so I was in charge last minute of taking him on the mid michigan sick tour. Short on cash and didnt want any trouble.i was scared to say anything as this was only my second motel. The ataff was great but my son and i left with an allergy attack from hell. Staff was so kind. Pics of dirty barhroom mold etc if needed

Did not have an exterior balcony … which it did not state. We wanted an outside view that we could sit and enjoy but that did not happen. Very disappointed
