Although this Holiday Inn is listed as "no pets" on the website, there was a dog barking in the room next to mine from around 6:30-7 a m. on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025. Very annoying!

Needs Renovations

The staff that work at the front desk seem to work hard and do their best. We were impressed with their efforts. However, the room we stayed in was extremely outdated and stains were everywhere. There were also stains all over the carpets throughout the hallways and elevators of the hotel. The bathroom in our room was not clean. A main light was not working at all so they switched us to another room but the review still applies, if not more so. The front desk did mention that they are in the process of their "ten year renovation" (didn't see any signs of this other than maybe the lobby), and the room we were in looked like it hadn't been renovated in over twenty years. Furthermore, we did not have a smart TV so there was no movie watching or streaming at all! Just a lame channel lineup with a terrible picture. We were not expecting this and between that and our room, it felt like we stepped back in time. Had we known, we would not have rented at this hotel because we were two moms on a girls' trip with our middle school and high school age daughters. Watching a movie was part of the planned fun! We also opted out of using the pool. It did not look clean or up to date. Breakfast was probably the best value there. I'm sorry to have to give a negative review, but until this hotel is renovated I cannot recommend it.

I had an excellent stay here. I stayed here last year for the Michigan game and will be staying here next year. We had a suite and it was very comfortable and breakfast was great. Me only issue was no signal in the excerise room and I work out with music but couldn’t

Very pleased with our choice! The building and rooms are clean and well maintained. The proximity to Michigan Stadium is perfect. They even offer a shuttle service to the games. We did not use this service but it is a great extra perk!
