We called specifically to verify that there was a hot tub prior to booking. We had to leave our home due to no running water while the hot water heater was going to be replaced. The hot tub was the only thing we were specifically wanting during our stay. We were assured the hotel had one.... upon arrival and first time use of the spa, we could see the jets were not working. The spa was essentially a large warm bath that also had small children using it with parents (spa rules clearly posted that no children were allowed). We notified the front desk, informed them that if we had been told the jets weren’t working, we would have stayed elsewhere.... we were told that the day staff may have not known of the part being on order and were assured that they would monitor the spa to ensure no children were using it. The next day, we decided we would try again.... this time the spa had 3 toddlers using it (wearing huge soggy diapers- NOT swim diapers) and it was apparent that there was some sort of birthday party being hosted in the pool area.... no chairs available, cake laid out over lounges and trash and wild kids everywhere. Again we updated the front desk. Lastly, @6am this morning, we were awoken by two different barking dogs apparently on our same floor. Front desk was notified, is text, since our room phone didn’t work either.... due to unforeseen weather conditions, our house water heater was unable to be installed today- we inquired about getting an additional night comped.

The comforts of home!

Pros: Everything!!
Cons: Nothing I can think of. It met all of my needs.
Location: Alyeska resort and the town of Girdwood was a wonderful day trip! Dinner at Double Musky Inn is a must! A scenic hour drive away.
What a wonderful experience staying at Home 2 suites by Hilton! The manager Melinda Calderon was very visible and was always seen engaging the guests. The desk staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. I asked for additional pillows the 1st morning and they were in my room by the time I finished breakfast! Each night I was dropped off late at the hotel and the night manager was watching that I got in safe! The rooms were great, I had an awesome nights sleep as the beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette was great. I liked the fact that they were very environmentally conscious as well. Breakfast was great! Numerous options to choose from and the kitchen staff kept everything clean and full. Never out of anything! In addition I used the pool which was very clean! If your heading to Anchorage you can't get any better accommodations! Than Home2suites

Very modern and clean room

Everything in the room was very clean and modern. Also they did wonderful job for cleaning daily during my stay. And the Inspired Table (breakfast bar) was just incredible. Staff at the hotel always greeted and asked me if they could help and assist to make my stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in good location

Stayed 3 nights. Clean room with kitchen. Blinds darkened room which was nice in Alaska. Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast.

New hotel, excellent experience.

Pros: Courteous staff, cleanliness, kitchenette, new hotel, free amenities (breakfast, parking, shuttle).
Cons: There's traffic noise for rooms facing the main street.
Location: Conveniently located with other major hotels in midtown area.
This is a new hotel. Staff is excellent, room is sparkling clean and new. It has everything you need for comfort and convenience (fridge, dishwasher, dishes, microwave, etc.). The room is also very spacious and has a modern decor. It's laid out like a large studio with bed, living room area and kitchen area. The complimentary breakfast is better than most. The only downside is our room was located facing the street so we could hear traffic (even though we requested a quiet room facing away from the street when we made the reservation), but we did not request a room change since we were already settled in when we noticed the traffic noise at night.
