Uncomfortable stay

Only a ventilator, no airco. Laminate floor and furniture, so basic and charmless. No fridge, no coffee machine or kettle. Safe unusable, being on a floor height shelf of the closet, unless you don’t mind getting on your hands and knees. First night was awful because ventilator did not cool the room enough. The one functional window could not be opened because of noisy trams. We could change to a quieter room the second night.

The hotel was well kept and staff very friendly and helpful. Very accessible to trams with restaurants around and a grocery. Although my room was very tiny it still was good with comfy bed. My only suggestion is to provide a super absorbent floor mat for the shower to prevent water from going all over the floor. The bathroom floor was all leveled. I would definitely stay at Hotel Espresso again and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Hotel Espresso!

Great location. Very basic rooms. Windows are locked so cannot open. Airconditioning is basically non-existent. The staff on the Friday and Sunday night were lovely. The lady working Saturday morning was a bit rude. Bathrooms and beds were good.

Hotel was good for basic necessities and a short stay. It’s in a great location for public transport. Lift didn’t seem to work on arrival, but stairs weren’t too bad. Bathroom completely floods when you have a shower & was woken up by the hoover going before checkout. But would say it’s good for the price you pay.

Good location. The property was good. It had a great foyer to sit and socialize and even have a meal if you liked too. The staff were extremely helpful and engaging. The property is older and little out of date but it was clean and close to most everything.
