Small hotel room but very comfy
The room I had in this hotel made every inch of space useful to squeeze in a double bed and a shower room. I've seen people say it's too small and cramped but it is more than adequate if you're just gonna use the hotel to sleep after exploring Amsterdam during the day. The only thing I felt the room lacked was storage and surfaces, such as a table. My shower door made an awful noise when opened but this was reported to the hotel in their own correspondence. They even gave me a discount voucher by email, which was nice. The hotel is very close to the metro and tram lines and there are shops and dining nearby, if you need it. It doesn't take long to get to the centre of Amsterdam though. I'd recommend travelling to the food halls, either Market 33 near Amsterdam Zuid or Foodhallen in Oud-West. It's a good budget hotel in a pricier city. Though budget in Amsterdam is not budget in some cities, for one of Amsterdam's cheaper hotels it's perfectly fine.

easyHotel Amsterdam - de Pijp
This hotel is very near the De Pijp Metro station. To the centre of Amsterdam it is twenty five minutes on foot, 15 minutes by tram, five minutes by metro. Check in was effecient (like everywhere in Amsterdam English is spoken) and the room was spotlessly clean. The hotel was amazingly quiet. We barely heard anyone in the hotel and the area is quiet overnight despite being quite buzzy during the evening. If I have one criticism it is that the rooms are small. There is very little storage, no wardrobe and no desk. We literally lived out of our suitcases.
