The staff was wonderful, very nice and quick to respond. The outlets by the bed are quite old and did not work with my travel adapter. I had to get an extension cord from the front desk in order to be able to use my breathing machine.

Our stay was great. Service was good. Room was clean and big. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful. The extra bonus was the ghost tour, gave us some good old history of the castle. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Nice welcome, and ideally placed for being in the town. Room was good, clean and worked well for us. Breakfast was just okay, possibly would have been better but we followed a very large group. Would use it again without hesitation.

An elevator was a bonus since many older buildings don’t have one. Breakfast is also convenient and many places nearby to eat. Marks and Spencer is around corner, as well as Morrisons. There are two laundromats within walking distance, which is helpful. Best of all? The train station is right next door. Easy come, easy go. You really can’t go wrong with this hotel."
