Book a hotel near Al Lopez Park, Tampa

"This is a very old hotel, the beds were less than satisfactory, the room smelled of a mixture between chemicals and smoke and I definitely would not have stayed had I been traveling alone. Thankful, it was just an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight. No WiFi service offered. "

"Well, for the price of the room, I was disappointed. The property was clean. The a/c in the room did not work very well. The tv was set for Spanish speaking folks. Nothing against these people, but hard to work thru channels when you don’t know what they are saying. When I stopped at a few of the channels I might be interested in, there was no audio. My main point is that for the price paid, I expected a little more. "

"It was horrible! If you value cleanliness, don’t like the smell of a basement, don’t say here. If it was not for the fact that everything was booked in the area for a concert, I would have run as fast as I could. Absolutely disgusting! I met so many that were unhappy in the elevator. I contacted the front desk and complained as soon as I arrived. By that eve the hotel put up signs in the elevator offering a free stay if patrons would give a five star review. They advertise a hot tub, they didn’t work. It was just bad all around! They also don’t value safety in this mold infested place because the stairs were blocked with old mattresses! The elevator did not feel safe and if you could get it to come it was full. It became a laughing joke among all the people in the hotel we ran into. "
