The room was fine. However, there is only one elevator to the upper floors. And it's the far end of the building. In our case, our room was at the complete other end of the building. We had to walk quite a ways with our luggage just to get to our room and back to the elevator when we arrived and left.

Check-in process seemed tedious, since it was a confirmed reservation already. Staff seemed more keyed on getting me enrolled in their rewards program than completing the check-in work.

We got in at 2 am and found out even though we booked a handicapped accessible room, we were not given one. Our reservations state that our reservations were for an accessible room. The staff still acted like this wasn't what we booked. The first room had staples sticking out of the wall along the bottom. Not safe. We asked if there was anything else because the bed came up to my waste and no way my mom could get in bed and the staples. We were showed a room with queen beds not accessible. My mom slept in her wheelchair. We were told those 2 were our only options all others were already occupied. We were told we could have this one because if the people don't call by 6pm they can give it away. Which they hadn't. The next day the staff informed me that the handicapped room we were switched to that day the people never came for or called. So, we were lied to at some point. I don't know when, but we are far from happy. On top of staples sticking out near the floor, my mom having to sleep in her wheelchair the first night, having to move several times, and being lied to. The breakfast was the most stale cold gross breakfast I've had at a hotel. We are far from happy and to avoid such a circus we will not be staying at a best Western again.

We value your feedback and am sorry for the situation you went through. Im sorry your room was no up to par. We started our remodel during the pandemic and got stopped midway through with some of the final details. We are working hard to fix all of these issues. The room that you were switched to was being held because the guest had pre-paid for this room and we had to hold it not knowing if or when they would show up. I apologize that we didnt have the room type you selected. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future.

The wall paper was peeling in a few different spots. Very noticeable. Could not believe they didn’t touch those spots up.
