"The room and main areas of the resort were very clean. The staff was very accommodating. BAlcony view was great. We overlooked the marina and could still view the castle. We don't drink so we didn't visit the bar. We were looking forward to using the pool but it was filthy with piles of green crystals clumped up along the pool bottom. It was even too cold to put your feet in. This pool area needs a massive overhaul.. if this is a "resort" I would have expected to see tropical plants and decor in the pool house. THe jacuzzi was out of order and boarded up. That was a BIG let down as we were really looking forward to swimming. For $300 a night, I expect top notch. This was our second visit and doubt we will be back."
