"After a long flight from Johannesburg, I arrived in Doha and checked into the Oryx Hotel around 11:30 p.m. before my early morning connection to Washington, D.C. I was fortunate to secure a room, which was quiet, spotless, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location inside the airport made it exceptionally convenient. While the rate is on the higher side $$$$, it’s well worth the cost compared to trying to sleep in the lounge or terminal. A special thanks to Mr. Tanveer at reception for his courteous and professional assistance during check-in — greatly appreciated."
