The hot breakfast was a great start to each day. The lounging area and fireplace are cozy and comfortable. We used the pool and jacuzzi also which were clean and well-maintained. It is the cleanest jacuzzi we've ever experienced and it didn't smell of chemicals. They empty and clean it often. Incredible! The rooms were also kept clean and yet we never saw the housekeeping staff do it. We called them our Room Fairies and they did a wonderful job. The location is perfect. We ate at the Penn Wells Hotel and highly recommend it! The food quality was excellent and surprisingly reasonably-priced and the historic atmosphere is an experience I'm glad we didn't miss. We can't wait to return!"
