"Brand New Hotel"
This is a brand new hotel. Staff are very professional and friendly. Very clean room (except they have a very little amount of dust still on the floor as it is a brand new hotel- provide slippers would be nice) Comfortable bed and great shower! However they do not have a bath tub as advertised. Everything is a brand new. The hotel is in great location (downtown toronto shopping area). I would highly recommend this hotel for people who is visiting downtown Toronto area.

"Good location and value"
The location of the hotel was its best asset. The rooms could have been renovated and were not as clean as I would have liked but had many positive qualities. Besides location, other positives include: value; pool; two rooms; small kitchen; underground parking (old and low ceiling); and a balcony. I would return and recommend this hotel. My priorities when searching for a hotel were location, value, pool, and two rooms. This hotel met my requirements and all four of us were satisfied.

"Walking or driving?"
Great underground garage to store your car at a reasonable cost. I was originally going to commute, then saw the cost of the parking facilities near to the conference I was attending. I got a lot of exercise, because I decided to walk. Price-wise? This ended up being more expensive than the Hilton where other friends were staying. The room, I rated 'average' --there is no refrigerator in the room and no features stood out, particularly. That being said, the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast offerings were decent. My room was on the 9th floor.

"Happy with choice!"
Hotel on very north end of city. 3 blocks to subway/streetcars. VERY walkable/upscale (Ferrair/Mazeratti dealership) area with lots of shops, boutiques and eaterys. Whole Foods next door. I agree with pervious comments about possible needs for renovations to the room - but you are not visiting Toronto to STAY in the room folks. Our room was large - explosed brick wall behind headboard which allowed us not to hear neighbors as we are prone to do in even the most expensive hotels. Bed was extremely firm (actually felt more like box springs) but not uncomfortable. Manager is committed to making stays in hotel positive and responds to online posts in appreciative manner (rare). No pool, but we didn't miss it as we were thoroughly enjoying this fine city and all it has to offer. Wifi was available; we were able to park behind hotel (fee - as in almost all hotels here). Breakfast was available but we did not partake. No view, but again...we were experiencing the sights. AC worked great! Second visit to Toronto and although much farther out from lakefront than last time, this was just as nice and allowed us more $$ to spend in other ways.

"Good for the price"
Able to check in at any time of night. Loud party one  night we were there. The staff was friendly - gave us extra pillows when we asked and the location was pretty close to downtown. However, the room was small and there wasn't much air. The air conditioning wasn't very cold and smelled kind of awkward. There was cable tv and no DVD player. The biggest issue was the leaky toilet that we had to put up with and constantly wipe up so as not to step in water. Also the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired - don't expect eggs or French toast.
