Reunion Resort and Golf Club is a vacation home community in Orlando, Florida, where the perks include access to a 5-acre water park. Get ready for a waterslide, lazy river, kids splash zone and water playground, and cabanas to rent. The water park is open from 10am to 7pm daily. When it’s time for a snack or a drink head over to Drifters Grill, where kid-friendly meals and adult libations are available without ever leaving the gates of the water park.

Tropical breezes and ocean views are what await you at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort. The resort’s onsite water park is filled with six slides, including one themed to a King Cobra. Soon the resort will be adding a lazy river to the pool and water park area to make it even more enticing for parents who want to float the day away while kids jump in line for the slides. The water park is open daily from 11am to 5pm. While inside the water park you can reserve a table for lunch and bring in food from any of the resort’s seven restaurants or bars.

Arapahoe Springs at Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center is set against the stunning Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The waterpark has indoor and outdoor pools, three water slides that twist outside and inside through buildings, and a sundeck. The heated outdoor lazy river is 720 feet long, but is only open seasonally. The indoor pools and slides are open year round, as is the heated outdoor pool. Arapahoe Springs is open each day from 8am until 9pm.

Cocoland Waterpark is a sprawling water park at Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa. The highlight of the water park is the 400-foot Coconut Cannon enclosed water slide. It’s the fastest on the property and catapults riders into a plunge pool. The second waterslide is the Coconut Coaster, which is 300 feet long. Adults will love the lazy river, which stretches for over a quarter mile. The waterpark is open from 10am to 4:30pm daily and is located within the resort’s Splash wing, which also has a zero-entry pool and a water playground.

The iconic Atlantis in Paradise Island is home to Aquaventure, which is a massive 141-acre water park. The water park offers nine high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride that include rapids and wave surges, 20 swimming areas, a water playground for small kids, and 11 swimming pools. The most popular ride at the water park is the clear slide where you can see marine life like sharks and fish as you whiz through the tunneled slide. While many water parks at resorts are a one-day adventure, Aquaventure is specially designed to be a multi-day experience as it’s one of the largest waterparks in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Adults looking for a getaway or families looking for a tropical vacation will love the 40-acre tropical paradise pools at the Grand Wailea Maui Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Resort. The resort has a 262-foot long water slide that drops you 30 feet and includes a 360 turn in the middle of the ride. At the Wailea Canyon Activity Pool you’ll find a 2000 foot-long paradise that’s actually nine individual pools on six different levels. Each of the pools are connected by a river that carries swimmers with rapids and currents. The Canyon also has four jungle pools, five intertwining slides, a rapid slide, a rope swing, six waterfall caves, and a swim-up bar for adults.

The Massanutten Resort is an all-seasons resort in the heart of Shenandoah Valley. The 130,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor water park features three new slides: MASS Mayhem, Peak Plunge, and Valley Vortex, each of which offer great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the top. Kids can enjoy the new kid-dedicated water playground. The outdoor waterpark is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend each year. At the inside water park families can enjoy water that’s always heated to 84 degrees, plus the usual slides and lazy river floats.

Just steps away from the entrance to the Disneyland Resort is the Howard Johnson Anaheim Hotel and Water Playground. This resort offers a pirate-themed water park for kids and adults to enjoy some time away from the theme parks. The park is geared towards smaller children, and includes a drench bucket, water cannons, water curtain, water umbrellas, a wading pool and 13 water fountains. There are also two water slides: One is geared towards toddlers and the other is for bigger kids. Castaway Cove is open from 10am until 10pm each day.

Adults who are 21 and over can also try their luck at the Baha Bay Gaming Pavilion, which is the world’s first outdoor casino located inside a waterpark. When it’s time to relax, head to the lazy river or some of the onsite restaurants, including a delicious lunch from the famed Umami Burger.

The Arizona Grand Hotel Resort and Spa is Phoenix’s only AAA Four Diamond all-suite resort. Located on the grounds of the resort is Oasis, which is a seven-acre water park with all kinds of activities for families. The park has a wave pool, hot tub, water slide, and a side-by-side active river. Younger kids will enjoy Wild Cat Springs, which is a heated pool with water jets and a spray deck. Thrill-seekers will want to get in line for Slide Canyon Tower, which has three water slides at varying heights and speeds.

The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa is one of the largest JW Marriotts in the world, and has a nine-acre water park. Each of the park’s outdoor pools are heated during the colder months, and perfectly cool in the warm months so every time you jump in the water feels just right. River Bluff Water Experience has seven water slices, a 650-foot rapid river, an 1,100-foot lazy river, a kids pool, an infinity edge adults-only pool, a sandy beach area, and more. Families will enjoy being able to get in and out of the water areas easily with their all-access wristband, which gets them into the park and onto the slides and rides as much as they want while staying at the hotel.
