Rustic Rook Resort Great Sand Dunes
"This was a fun novelty stay with my dog. Everyone was friendly. Tents and linens were clean, as well as the bathrooms. My first tent had broken screens that wouldnt zip allowing all the bugs in. And at 5pm there were a TON of gnats a d mosquitos. They were relentless, so the screens were necessary. They graciously found another tent for me though. The bugs lessened after sunset, but if you're one that mosquitos love, you're going to be a buffet. Electronic bug repellent devices, or citronella candles,or anything would have been a nice inclusion. Breakfast is included but is package instant oatmeal or a pre-made small breakfast burrito. Not really worth any extra cost. All in all, this was a fun novelty visit, with really nice views, and close proximity to the dunes. But, for the price, I thought it would be way more "glampy" than it was."
