"Don't be put off by the immediate neighbourhood. Astigarraga is a warm and friendly town full of local bars and lovely people. Bar under pension wasn't open the weekend we were there which was a shame"

Location: + peaceful and quiet. not far by bus into the town around 20min on busy day and 15min when less busy. bus stop right outside hotel can use contactless by card. very easy to navigate. - Taxi we found a little trickier to find in quieter parts of town say Antiguo and buses do not run that late. Spa +excellent. - to access the Spa indoor pool and sauna comes at a cost which is notable when the outdoor pool is closed. Food +excellent both breakfast at the restaurant "
