Very handy location for visiting the Guildhall for an evening concert. Located above a Japanese restaurant (that looked stunning but I didn’t have time to eat there) and very close to the high street and main Town amenities. Approx 10 min walk from the train station which had very fast service to London.

Kyoto rooms were so helpful for us. We had to cancel due to the heatwave and advice not to travel and they changed our booking to another date without a quibble. If everything goes well when we do visit they will be highly recommended.

The Kyoto Rooms felt like a secret; a half-dozen well-appointed rooms hidden behind a fine Japanese restaurant. Location is good for walks and wanderings.

Comfortable bed. Choice of pillows. Secondary glazing didn’t seal so room 1 was very noisy and we struggled to sleep. The hotel is on a busy roundabout. Coffee machine good. No kettle for tea?! Room Spacious and 2 comfortable chairs. No net curtains so you had to pull the blind for privacy. Staff nice.
