I had a great stay at the Oceanfront Inn in Virginia Beach. The location is great right off the main entrance to VB with a great view of the beach. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower, but overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely consider staying here again!

I was looking for an affordable option that would allow my grandchildren from New York and Virginia to visit each other. The Oceanfront Inn was perfect. The kids were able to enjoy the pool, enjoy the beach ( it was more like looking at and listening to the ocean - rather than swimming as the temperature was in the 30°) They enjoyed visiting each others’ rooms. They were able to play card games and such in the restaurant area ( restaurant was closed at the time. The rooms were clean but showing some wear and paint spatters etc. The hotel was in the process of renovating. So the future should be revealing an interesting update! The staff was excellent. Checked us in at 2:00 am very smoothly - greatly appreciated after a ten hour traffic filled ride from NY. The staff was very helpful providing extra towels, suggestions, opening the door for us in the windy weather. We felt very welcomed at the Oceanfront Inn! Parking for the hotel was very convenient and it was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Hot coffee was provided in the mornings in the restaurant area next to the pool. On our wish list would be a free breakfast - that would really be super.

Everything was fine frombthe room to the balcony and the views. My only complaint is I think we need new mattresses. Hotel needs some remodling, but otherwise I have stayed here many times. Never a bad experience.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Lobby area and hallways were clean and quiet, great view’s comfortable beds. Bathroom sink didn’t drain and refrigerator wasn’t super clean. Room is very dated. Old furniture and decorations. Drink machine only took cash. Single ply tissue in bathroom. For one night stay it was good , but I likely wouldn’t book extended stay.

nice place to stay within budget.

Best thing was the view. It was directly on the Boardwalk, and the Christmas lights were up along the beach. Only two downers were the bathtub looked liked it had sand in it but was just wear and tear. Did not affect a shower. Then, no breakfast items at all, not even a coffee center in the lobby. And don't even attempt to use that little coffee maker in the room. So, you do have to go out for that ,if needed. Other then that it was very accommodating. Will stay here again.
